A NEW HOME FOR THE SALEM NEW AGE CENTER

The Salem New Age Center has relocated our virtual home. Since 1995, we've been at http://www.salemctr.com/newage.html  And, for the last 5 years, we've shared this domain with our Internet Company, the Salem Center for Computing (now known as Net Atlantic).

But now the Salem New Age Center has its own new (long overdue) home at http://www.newage.ac  The .ac country code is for the Ascension Islands, deep in the Atlantic Ocean between South America and Africa, on the other side of the globe from China.

So there you have it. And although we have moved, our message is still the same Share important, timely new age and metaphysical information with all those who search for it.

THE MILLENIA MOMENT
An Invitation from Chris Cross

Greetings.

I'd like to speak to you a moment about Peace and about the New Millennia, the switch from 1999 to the year 2000.

I'd like to invite you to join me for a very simple thought on December 31, 1999 as the world time switches from 1999 into the year 2000. This is a personal invitation, one human to another, to join me in a meditation, a thought, a prayer for Peace. It's not our governments or our belief systems, or our words that create Peace, but we ourselves living this Peace every day. And so I ask you to join me to set a thought, an intention, a prayer, a request. Together at midnight on December 31st, we can create the first thought for the new millennia a golden thought of unilateral Peace for the next one thousand years and beyond.

The intention is a very simple thought, a very simple expression.

From the heart of Man
To the heart of the Earth
To the heart of God,
I commit to living Peace
For myself
For my children
For my family
For my town
For my city
My country
And the world.

So on December 31st , if we all join together in this one thought and this one intention, we the individuals of the earth, will have done what has never been done before each person individually, for all of humanity, will commit to Peace.

If we do this together, at the time we cross into the New Millennium at the International Date Line, it will be the very first thought that happens in the New Millenia. Then if we repeat this commitment to peace again at each midnight in each time zone around the world for 24 hours, we can create a wave of Peace that will blanket the entire planet and bring with it that feeling of inner peacefulness.

It may not begin to change overnight, and then again it may. But I feel that we have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I know Peace is a common desire for every person. In every country, in every city, every person wishes to have Peace. They wish to be honored for who they are. They wish to have acceptance for what they believe in and what they do. But acceptance comes with Peace and being at inner Peace. It would be a wonderful world if there were no more judgment, no more hatred, no more bigotry. If we could love one another unconditionally from the center of our hearts, we can be that Peace, each person, one by one.

It only takes one thought, just that moment, as the clock ticks to midnight and we move into the next one thousand years of the history of this world, we can create this thought of Peace.

If we can hold this vision together, each individual, we will accomplish what no governments have been able to do. We will create within every person a sense of Peace and perhaps we can teach our children that there is hope. There is something to believe in. It's not a hero. It's each person living that personal Peace and truth.

And so again I invite you to join me. I hope you will. We'll begin at the date line in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and create a wave, a peaceful wave by every person on the planet joined together, in each time zone for 24 hours. If you believe that we can do this together it will happen.

I thank you very much for listening. I invite you to tell all your friends, your families, your governments, your religious institutions, everyone you meet. This is something we can all do together, one person at a time. It doesn't cost anything; it doesn't take but a moment, and it may be the most important moment that we have in humanity, certainly in this century. For it's a golden opportunity for all of us to create, believe, hope, pray, think, feel and intend for Peace for the next one thousand years and beyond.

I look forward to being with you in the peaceful energies, in the peaceful thoughts and in the peaceful intentions that will blanket the planet on December 31st 1999.

THE LORD'S PRAYER

A mother was teaching her 3-year-old the Lord's prayer. For several evenings at bedtime she repeated it after her mother. One night she said she was ready to solo. The mother listened with pride as she carefully enunciated each word, right up to the end of the prayer "Lead us not into temptation," she prayed, "but deliver us some e-mail, Amen."

TIME AND THE THIRD DIMENSION

Many times people talk about the concepts of time, higher dimensions, and the illusion of time. What do people mean when they say there is really no time, and that time is an illusion? How can that be?

Time is one of the critical elements of our third dimension which make this dimension so real for us. Space, time and matter all combine to give us the physical life we live every day. Because things appear to have a beginning and ending, they appear happen in a specific order of time, to be sequential. But things are not really sequential, they merely appear that way to us.

One curious thing occurs when we receive guidance, inspiration and help from friends in the higher dimensions. These well-meaning friends, angels, spirit guides, ascended masters and others have difficulty understanding the concept of time. If they tell us that something is likely to occur, and we ask them when, they have lots of trouble answering when with any accuracy. The reason for this is simple.

This is because as much as we have trouble understanding how life is in the higher dimensions where time does not exist, they have trouble understanding how we must manage our live in sequential, liner fashion where time does exist!

The ability to manifest is one good example of how these concepts work. Our spirit guides know there is no time, so they can actually see things manifest instantly as the thought forms are created. However, in our third dimension, there appears to be a delay in the time from the conception of the idea for manifestation and the actual manifestation itself.

WHY is it important to understand time? Because we will soon be able to access the other dimensions, where time no longer affects us. Making something happen will be as easy as thinking it!

Here is a brief passage from Conversations With God book 3 where related topics are addressed

"[Is it true that] everything that's ever going to happen has already happened?"

Yes. All of it happened. All of it has already happened. Every possibility exists as fact, as completed events.

How can that be? I still don't understand how that can be.

I am going to put this in terms which you can better relate. See if this helps. Have you ever watched children use a CD-ROM to play a computerized video game?

Yes.

Have you every asked yourself how the computer knows how to respond to every move the child makes with the joystick?

Yes, actually, I have wondered that.

It is all on the disc. The computer knows how to respond to every move the child makes because every possible move has already been placed on the disc, along with its appropriate response.

Think of the cosmic wheel as that CD-ROM. All the endings already exist. The universe is just waiting to see which one you use this time. And when the game is over, whether you win, lose or draw, the universe will say, "Want to play again?"

So everything's happening at once?

Right again. All that has ever happened, is happening now, and ever will happen, exists right now. Just as the moves in a computer game exist right now on that disc. So if you think it would be interesting for the doomsday [ earth changes] predictions of the psychics to come true, focus all attention on that, and you can draw that to yourself. And if you think you would like to experience a different reality, focus on that, and that is the outcome you can draw to you.

TECHNOLOGY AND HUMANS
A message from Zocore
24/06/99

Greetings Friends of Light,

I come this day to speak of technology and humans. I am from the inner earth and have seen first hand what can happen when man overshoots his technology.

At this time in history, man has advanced 'almost' to the days of Atlantis technology, but we all know what happened there! Technology advanced humans. This should not happen again.

What I am here to tell you all is this! What you are creating on the outside such as computers, faster ways to travel and communications systems, these are all things you could do within you.

Remember telepathic communication? Many native tribes still use this form of communication. And travel once upon a time you could just think of where you wanted to be and be there! But since taking on denser bodies the travel was slowed down and then forgotten. Computers, look at how clever they are now, but who wrote the programs? A computer is only as good as the programmer, and all these things they create are all aspects of your own inner abilities. You store events and information in your memory for later use, you see pictures and store them etc, the list goes on.

So now that you have created on outside what you can do on the inside, it is time to use this internal computer more often.

Because dear ones, if your technology starts to out weigh your own knowledge then that is where trouble starts.

One example of this is the modern creation and treatment of food items. No one knows how these foods affect the body, but they have been created! Unfortunately, they have not been researched for possible side effects!

And what of nuclear energy? There is no safe way of disposing this material without forever polluting the land and sea. Again this was created without thought of disposal.

You see where I am heading here. Humans need to slow down and catch up with their creations, test more, before creating more.

The next generation of leaders will know this. They will have the knowledge within them to heal the wounds. But in the mean time it is up to you to leave something behind for them.

It has always been up to you. We in other dimensions give you advice and information on how to help etc, but it is up to you. You have the abilities to do this, you were born with this knowledge, just go within and be quite and listen. Listen to that quite voice within you, it will always guide you.

Remember, these words dear light beings. You are so special to us, and know, we are helping where we can without infringing on your free will.

We are your brothers and sisters of light.

DISCOURAGED?

As I was driving home from work one day, I stopped to watch a local Little League baseball game that was being played in a park near my home.

As I sat down behind the bench on the first-base line, I asked one of the boys what the score was.

"We're behind 14 to nothing," he answered with a smile.

"Really," I said. "I have to say you don't look very discouraged."

"Discouraged?" the boy asked with a puzzled look on his face. "Why should we be discouraged? We haven't been up to bat yet."
